Composition of Espumisan MAX 20 pcs.

1 capsule contains 140 mg of simethicone. Other ingredients: gelatin, glycerol, quinoline yellow, red iron oxide.

It does not contain sugar and can be used in people suffering from diabetes.

Effects of Espumisan MAX, soft capsules

Contained in Espumisan MAX Symethicone:

• dissolves foam present in the digestive tract in a purely physiological way
• It is biologically and chemically completely inactive, so it can be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Indications

Espumisan MAX can be used for:

• symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal disorders associated with excessive accumulation of gases in the gastrointestinal tract (bloating, pressure, feeling of fullness),
• in preparing patients for diagnostic tests, e.g. radiology, ultrasound and endoscopy.

How to use the medical device

• in gastrointestinal disorders associated with excessive gas accumulation: adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: 1 capsule during or after a meal. The daily dose should not exceed 5 capsules.
• in preparation for diagnostic tests: adults and children over 14 years of age: 2 capsules on the day before the test. on the day of the test – 1 capsule
• The capsules should be swallowed without chewing with an appropriate amount of liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).
• The capsules should be taken until the discomfort disappears, but not longer than for 30 days.

Contraindications and precautions

• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Store in a dry place at a temperature below 25oC.
• Do not use after the expiry date.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

As a rule, simethicone can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding without restrictions, as it is excreted from the intestines unchanged and is not absorbed into the body.

Use in children and adolescents

Espumisan MAX is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
